We finished our brilliant ad today. It is marvellous. Movie maker has been simple to use once I read the tutorials and go my head around it. My group is mean and I reckon we work well toghether. About the group.. I have to write an evaluation. I 'm going to go in alphabetical order.
Ashley: Is small.. Teehee but she worked hard on it and was an awesome director - very good at not being there when we needed her the most mind you, but she left an easy to follow storyboard and it turned out fine.
Chelsea R: Very good at turning up with a bung eye when we needed to capture her beauty on tape.. but she truned out to be an awesomely good camera person. YAY
Chelsea S: Is extrememly quiet but works in her own little way.. good with creative ideas but she coudl have spoken out a bit more to let her coolyness ideas heard.
Lydia: Why not value myself. Well i rock my socks. I work well and i am just mean.

We have taken lots of pretty pictures of our product. They're be-yoo-ti-full, Katies camera work is awesome and Leonie and I are just the BEST models. Our website is awesome and pretty and is coming along nicely. Publisher has been easy to use and helped us.. all the pages that are there for you to edit are great.

Yesterday in media we started our website design, Katie and I have chosen a design that incorporates circles and lines which we like. Our colour scheme is called Island and it is light blues and greens. We have found using publisher quite easy adn the theme option had been helpful.

Using publisher to create the ad has been allright its easier than using word because you can create text boxes and such so that you can move them around, i also like how you can pick themes but it would be better if you could pick what colour certain elements in your pictures are instead of having a pre-set colour scheme. The element we most like in our ad is our theme, we have used a comic book style which we like because it is all 'vintage' and koolyness. We have chosen this theme because the results from our questionnaire showed that our target audience liked funky and original things and we think the comic book theme reflects that. We are packaging our product in a barbie box because we think that this will stand out and also reflect our style.

Today in media we made surveys so that when we make a product we know what sort of things our target audience likes. Our target audience is teenage girls and the questions are things like "how much makeup do you wear?" and "whos the hottest?" so that we can tailor our product to fit them.

Today in media we made these blog things and we have to write in them about what we did in media;; we have been learning about advertising and such, we had to do this thing where we found the ads in the tearaway magazine and then did a picture of what we think the typical reader of the tearaway magazine would look like;; we have also learnt that in america the average child sees about 10,000 ads in a day, ours is a little lower but you stilll dont even notice that so many people are trying to make you buy stuff;; we have studied what a medium is and what the meaning of media is;; we have listed what our favourite shows and magazines are and we have also been exploring different forms of media and advertising;;
